Memory Quilt Process
My number one goal is to provide you with a quilt that you and your family can cherish forever. Each memory quilt is custom and made to order. Upon receiving your order and deposit, I will send you a message with information on where to send your clothing. You will pay to send your items to me, and I will pay to ship the completed quilt to you.
Once items are received, I will begin constructing your quilt. Share Love Quilts take great pride in not just sewing items together. I will arrange pieces of clothing together for each block so all blocks will flow together. I will update you along the way to ensure we are creating the perfect memory quilt for you and your family.
Once your quilt has been completed it is washed with a hypo-allergenic detergent. The quilt is then machine dried to achieve the rag style. Each quilt is made with time and love and constructed in a smoke free and pet free environment.
What type of fabric do you use?
Our memory quilts are made with your loved one's clothing along with flannel or cotton for the backing. The quilt is also lined with flannel for extra softness
How many pieces of clothing do I need?
Depending on the size of the quilt 20 or more items of clothing may be needed to construct the quilt. You may send more clothing if you like. Front and back of the clothing can be used, any clothing not used will be returned to you.
Just about any type of clothing can be used to make memory quilts, shirts, pants, jeans, baby clothes, bibs, burp cloths etc. If you are unsure if an item can be used, please feel free to contact me to ask. Due to unraveling we are unable to use knitted or crocheted items or items such as beanies, certain sweaters, items that are lacy or see through.
If you prefer a specific piece of clothing to be used, please message me to let me know. We ask that you do not send any damaged or soiled clothing. (baby milk stains are ok). We also ask that you do not send swimwear, underwear or under garments. Any of items of this kind will be returned to you or disposed of.

***A deposit is required on all orders. Deposits are non refundable and will be deducted from balance due.**
Returns
We gladly except returns and exchanges on "Regular blankets*. Please contact us within 10 days of receiving your item.
*Items must be shipped back to us within 21 days of delivery.
*Buyers are responsible for return shipping cost. If item is not returned in the original condition, then the buyer is responsible for any loss of value
**Please Note*
We will take all the necessary care to ensure your quilt will arrive in the best condition possible. However, due to the nature of the items that are custom made, we cannot except returns or exchanges unless the product arrives damaged.
**Processing Time*
Current processing time is 6-9 weeks for keepsake quilts and 2 weeks for memory bears and pillows.
